I have been a Youth and Family support worker in remote Australia since 2002, in this time I have encountered youth from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures, with an array of issues, including; homelessness, sexual trauma and abuse, substance abuse/mis-use , domestic violence and extreme behavioural challenges.

I am passionately inspired by the youth of today in all their forms and feel compelled to assist, work with and support  the young people of today to be their authentic selves and shine in the world, to bring to their lives the meaning and direction that inspires them and keeps them shining throughout their lives. I have trained in a variety of areas, including; Suicide Prevention, Addiction counselling, Non-Violent Communication, Cross Cultural Training, The Journey and other various techniques and courses.

The Get Real camp, along with the Journey technique is from my experience having a profound effect on the most troubled youth. Even for myself, the effect of watching the changes that are taking place within participants during the use of these tools is, transformative. The ease in which youth are taking the plunge into clearing away their emotional trauma and blockages is truly amazing and deeply inspiring for all of us.
